Khan Shatyr Shopping and Entertainment Center project in the capital city of Kazakhstan, Astana, is own investment of Sembol Construction firm and the total construction area of this project is 130.000 m2. In this project where 22.000 tons of rebar and 140.000 m3 of concrete were used, it consists of a conical reinforced concrete structure at a height of 30 m and a steel pole in the middle of structure weighing 10.000 tons and at a height of 150 m. A specially woven cloth was streched through concrete structure and a tent image was given to the structure.
Reinforced concrete shell slab formwork, at a thickness of 50 cm and making an angle of horizontally 20 degrees, was sorted out with HD 150 tower system. Thanks to various basic frame combinations, spindle feet and spindle heads, it becomes possible to reach all kinds of heights milimetrically. Because of this property of HD 150 system, it became possible to support the slab reaching storey height of 550 cm angled easily. Steel walings were used as main beam due to the fact that slab was very heavy and inclined. H20 wooden beam was used as secondary beam.
