One of the new modern investment projects TOGG (Turkey’s Automobile Enterprise Group Industry and Trade Inc.) is being constructed in Gemlik which is a district of Bursa. İNTEK Formwork and Scaffolding Systems have been preferred during construction time.
Project is undertaken by the main contracting firm Yapı Merkezi.TOGG Production Facility project has 230,000 m2 closed area of 1.2 million m2 total land.Project consists of; Body Production Plant, Paint Plant, Anex buildings, İnstallation Plant, Energy Center, Purification Plant, Spare parts, Warehouse, Entrance center, Training academy and Guard house buildings.
At Energy Center, Paint Plants, Body Production Facilities and Anex buildings; for the solution of wall and column formworks with different shapes, sizes, and heights, PANEMAX ‘’crane-handled framed panel formwork’’ system which can be easily adapted to these differences has been preferred.
In the Energy Center, Paint Plant, Body Production Plant, and Anex buildings have different heights floors ranging from 4.60 to 9.80 meters. These buildings have been designed with reinforced concrete slabs with heavy beams which have the height of 60 to 100 cm. At all the buildings, spacing between beams are not same, because of that HD 150 ‘’load bearing tower’’ system was not used as a “table formwork” but used as shoring tower by dismantling and re-installing the shoring materials every time.
Multitek‘’ shoring and scaffolding system’’ and Intesafe ‘’H type scaffolding system’’, which are the supporting and safety systems of Intek, have been used in the project.
Ironing scaffolding has been assembled by using Multitek system and provided safety area for iron workers when they were working. Stair tower has been assembled by using H type Intesafe scaffolding system and provided safe access for workers to the top of the formworks.
