Concrete pressure in wall formworks is met by tie-rods connecting two opposing panels together. However, in some cases, it becomes impossible tu use tie-rods.

For example

  • At dams
  • On insulated walls
  • On walls where panels are placed to single side due to space problem
  • On thick walls where tie-rods cannot be used
  • At stop-ends of thick walls
  • At stop-ends of too thick slabs

In such applications, single-sided supporting component mounted behind wall formwork, withstands concrete pressure towards formwork and transfers the load to the stop anchor placed into concrete previously.
